Business Model and Locations

The Harmony Project 'TRIO OF SUCCESS' Model
|
The main focus of most business models is the first ‘leg’ of the ‘Trio’ tripod, business practices, while completely ignoring the potential for creating true harmony through inspired emphasis on the critical ‘second and third legs’. A sincere involvement in the well-being of a locale, as well as an honest exploration of the sense of place, history, and purpose within its identity provides the critical difference.
A three-tiered luxury resort business model, The Harmony Project’s ‘Trio of Success’ model supports all Harmony Project locations. Like a steady tripod, it balances its actions on three equally important working principles:
Business Balance - sound product marketing, finance, and communication
Developmental Balance - sincere and sensitive care for wildlife, land, and community
Harmonic Balance - an honest sense of place, history, and purpose. |
By honoring these powerful ingredients for success, The Harmony Project adds unforgettable value and expression through its strong focus on:.
‘A Sense of Place’ Cultural and geographical contexts are addressed, celebrating the inherent spirit of the environment, its wildlife, its employees, and their local community, thus creating an opportunity for genuine personal experiences. The indelible memories that remain with a traveler will always come from such direct encounters.
‘A Sense of History’ Historical, social, and anthropological aspects of a locale are honored, thereby supporting vibrant and engaging thematic platforms that add truly sustainable purpose to adventures and activities. Direct encounters and personal involvement create lasting connections for guests, staff, and stakeholders.
‘A Sense of Purpose’ By engaging the civil, self-improvement, and environmental interactions, the client leaves with a deeper sense of personal involvement, bringing novelty, authenticity, freedom, and vibrant social involvement into play. |

| Academic Exchange and the Harmony Model demic |
Integrating local academia into our locations is a major distinction of the Harmony Project model. The foundation for the Harmony Project's Sense of History, Sense of Place and Sense of Purpose is underpinned by academia, original scholarship and science.
For example, the Tanzania Harmony Project actively works with the National Museum of Kenya's Phyto Chemistry Department and the University of Nairobi's School of Medicine regarding Wellness & Medicine. The four year old Osero Forest Clinic comprises two indigenous healers, one allopathic physician four assistants and a working relationship with a hospital one kilometer away. Osero's Kenyan colleague and a Oxford trained Ethnobotanist document the active components of phyto and allopathic medicines used in the clinic to substantiate the healer-collaboration and the African Living Spa in science. As a result, our travelers enjoy a fully substantiated experience based in science and authentic wellness treatments, and have the opportunity to empower themselves with a deeper understanding of their world. |

| Eventually, the Global Harmony Project Academy will be established with branches in Art, Natural History contemporary (social) anthropology, and Wellness & Medicine. Each destination will emphasize two or more of these disciplines. |
